She slept for who knew how long and suddenly jolted from the bed. She couldn't believe she dreamed Harrison chopped her head off.
When she watched her surroundings her brows shot up in surprise to find herself in the unexpected room. She recalled the last moment at the arena she fell and in her moment before she closed her eyes someone walked and took her in his arms.
The moment the face of the person who did that became clear her eyes narrowed. Demons returned then why she was in their mansion. She shouldn't worry about where she slept but why he did that?
'Shouldn't you be asking how the body healed'
Then her mind clicked and looked at her body. Right, she couldn't heal then how on earth? Perhaps... Could it be... No, it can't be.
She buried the thought of leaving and instead waited to meet with that man.
At that moment, the door opened and an incredibly handsome man stood at the doorway before he stepped inside.
Radella stood as if she was offended and waited for him impatiently.
"Why ...?" He wanted to ask the question but Radella cut him
"Yes I did spend the night here. Are you going to send me to the dungeon?"
"You will do more than that"
"We should see about that after you answered my questions. I can't see the reason for you to help me more than twice. Make me understand why you did that?"
His face contorted deeply. Where she got the confidence to talk back and cut his words. Didn't she know he almost killed her when he found her in his mansion. He healed her because she reeked blood something he hated than anything.
There was something he wanted to confirm with her so he took a dagger and ordered
"Pull out"
She was perplexed with what he meant before she realized was the knife she took in their mansion and used during the fight.
She turned back to him not trying to believe the man wanted a fight only after he healed her. Without putting much thought she grabbed the handle and pulled out then she thrusted toward his neck.
The man grabbed her wrist and looked her deep in the eyes. Then in a blink of an eye, she found herself levitating enough to reach the roof.
She was too surprised by the unknown situation and lowered her eyes to the man whose eyes deepened.
"The soul was of another person" He uttered in surprise "What in the world..."
Radella glanced at the floor and her eyes shot wide to see Nala's body. She couldn't believe her eyes the soul and body parted in a single moment. She has never been humiliated to that extent.
Then he lowered his hand and let her soul into a body. She opened her eyes and woke up from the floor her blood boiled but didn't change the fact the man was able to destroy her in seconds if he wanted.
He was too powerful and remained glaring at him with clenched fists. Her anger too intense that she didn't notice the candle flicked and soon the room became dark since was late at night. The darkness didn't last though and when the light returned Radella was on the ground and touched her pained chest.
The man moved his hand to touch his hair only to come with his ponytail on his hand. He always had long hair which he pinned in a ponytail but now because of someone, his hair shortened in a second.
He gritted his teeth "Witch spells never worked on me. What kind of Witch are you?"
She spat the blood on the floor.
His face darkened. "Clean the room!" Saying that he left
'Maybe I should have warned you properly. Now we are on his bad terms thanks to you' Elaine lamented helpless
She stood on her feet and wiped the blood with the back of her hand.
At that time the rain started pouring outside. She staggered and walked to the window then she kept staring outside.
How powerful demons were, she asked herself. She remained as she was for about half an hour and thought about her life.
'I always felt sorry for Nala having me as her wolf...'
Elaine wanted to break the silence but stopped when she read Radella's thoughts.
'What are you going to do?! Is this what you aimed for from the start? I almost thought what they said about you was a lie that you're a good person. How can you have such thoughts to the pack?...'
Elaine kept shouting with anger but Radella didn't pay any heed and only stared outside with her dark eyes. After a moment she raised her finger and drew the character 'War' before she left.
She walked in the rain late at night and strolled not sure where she headed to sleep. She walked for a moment when her eyes saw a house which outside grew weeds and seemed a little scary in darkness.
She thought no one could be living in but to her surprise, an old woman with dark skin and short curly hair walked outside with a raincoat.
Little curious she stopped
When the woman locked eyes with Radella she said slowly "Do you wish to join me for dinner?"
Radella didn't think too much and took steps on the stairs toward the house entrance. The woman glanced at her before she stepped inside and she followed.
The room so dark and only one candle was on the table as the only source of light.
The woman prepared the meal on the table while Radella changed her clothes to warm outfits.
Soon she joined the table and watched the food she had never eaten before but the smell amazed her.
"You're not from here" The woman said as Radella ate.
She almost choked then faced the woman before her. She wished to ask Elaine about the woman but she was angered with her.
"What do you mean?"
"I can help you remember what you have forgotten for many years"
'Did she see my true self?'
'I don't know but she can see things we don't. Argh I'm getting used to talk with her. Anyway, her name is Carlotta, she is the elder of the pack'
"Do you think there is something I have to remember?" Radella asked
"Come"
Radella followed with caution and soon they arrived near the bed. She glanced at the woman and understood she wanted her to lay on it.
She hesitated asking herself what the woman wanted but she laid on the bed and eyes on guard.
"Don't think about anything and close your eyes"
Radella did so and closed her eyes but her ears paid attention to whatever went on. She wasn't sure what Carlotta did but she stayed still.
Eventually, she fell asleep.
When she opened her eyes, she wasn't in Carlotta's house but in the dark forest sat on something in a move. She glanced only to find she sat on top of a wolf running in a high speed.
Her eyes widened in horror not sure what happening because everything felt real. "Stop!"
The wolf didn't stop and suddenly something Jumped to block the wolf's way.
