Rori-POV
I am more than exhausted. With the fact that i woke up from a horrible Dragon-crash and then having to sit in the hospital room and argue about our next move was more of a pain.
Alpha Light wanted to go back to the cave and attack the cursed luna but the rest of us had been trying to calm her down.
Going back to that cave would be stupidity and i am sure that an intelligent alpha as Alpha Light Angle would know that well enough. But anger had clouded her judgement and she was constantly screaming at us, growling beyond control and releasing her heavy aura on us.
It's really good that her mate flew in with their daughter as soon as he heard that Alpha Light was taken, and with Adalwolf's warning and her mate's return by her side, she was able to calm down a bit but refused to just sit still and wait fo another attack and defeat.
When none of us could figure out a way to convince her to not forgo with her plan, Adal had stepped in to assure her.
He had first stated the state Mr. Beam, Diago and myself were in. Since Diago forced his beast to shift even though he was tamed with Gold for a long time and since Mr. Beam was heavily drugged and hasn't still recovered from the poison, we would be in a definite disadvantage if we go to fight right away.
He then swore that his warriors and all that can fight will join us in the fight with the cursed luna. He had hinted that the cursed luna was after all of us and that we need to join hands if we want to win.
So, instead of rushing to an un strategized attack, we need to make sure that we use all the elements we have to an advantage.
Alpha Light had stayed silent for a few minutes before she sighed in defeat.
"We can't let them win." She had whispered with all the determination and anger whipped out of her tone.
"We will not." Mr. Beam had answered her before taking his Iv out, downing the cup of herb phoebe gave him and walked out.
Diago followed out as he was barely awake at the end of the argument. And after making sure that Alpha Light was calm and she wouldn't do anything rash, Adal pulled me out of my seat and carefully led me out of the room.
I leaned against Adal as exhaustion too over my body and Adalwolf didn't hesitate fo a second before he scooped me off the floor. I closed my eyes and leaned my head on his shoulder.
Instead of taking me back to the hospital room, he carried me to the main pack house and into his room. Adal gently placed me at the edge of the bed and knelt down infront of me.
He rook my hands in his and have them a squeeze while looking me straight in the eyes.
"You okay?" He asked in a soft tone and i nodded my head as i matched his smile.
Adal leaned closed and wrapped his arms around my waist and pressed the side of his head to my stomach.
"You keep scaring me like that and i would die of a heart attack." He mumbled.
I chuckled as i ran my fingers through his dark hair. "I didn't know werewolf could have a heart attack."
"Well..." Adal replied "I'm probably going to be the first one then."
Adal sighed before pulling back and looked at the cuts on my face. He reached his hand up to brush his thumb against my cheekbone.
"That was a nasty fall you took out there." He commented as he examined my wounds. "I was terrified, Rori." Adal continued.
"I was scared the same thing would happen again. You... You were just gone. I couldn't find you."
I touch Adal's hand that was brushing my face and leaned into his big palm.
"I'm here now." I whispered and Adal closed his eyes before he pulled my head down to press his forehead against mine.
Adal hummed before he pulled back again.
"Time to get you in bed." He commented as he stood up to walk over to to head of the bed and pulled the covers off.
I nodded my head but before i could stand up, Adalwolf's gaze traveled across the room and i already know he is kind linking with one of his pack members.
After a few second, Adal sighed before he looked at me in an apologetic look. I already know that his people were asking for him and that he felt bad to leave me alone.
"Go..." I commented. "Adal don't worry about me. Your people need you. And besides, I'm going to pass put as soon as my head hits the pillow so i probably don't need to hold you here."
Adal sighed once more before he nodded his head and helped me get in to bed. After placing a kiss on my forehead and promising that he would be back as soon as he was done, he walked out of the room and softly closed the door.
A satisfied sigh escaped from my lips as i sunk into the pillow. The room was filled with Adal's scent that it felt like he was right here. So, i hugged the pillow and closed my eyes. The soft mattress made me believe that i was sleeping on a cloud and soon, sleep took over.

I don't think i even slept for ten minutes before Harke barged into the room and slammed the door shut.
"What is wrong with you?" I groaned as i turned over to give him my back.
"Your mom told me to get you something to eat." He answered in the most care free way a person could answer, even though he woke me up from a sweet dream.
I looked at him over my shoulder to see that he was empty handed.
"I see no food." I spar out as i glared at him. Harke simply chuckled before he walked over to the bed and forced me to sit up.
"I know that. The food is in the dining room. Our moms made a feast for you and the other three."
I sighed before i pulled the pillow to mu chest and leaned the side of my head against it.
"I'm tired." I whispered before i looked up to see that Harke was studying me. "What?" I asked and he smiled.
"Things must be going good between you and Adalwolf if your in his room." He commented as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Mmm..." I hummed "forget about me. How are things between you and him?"
Harke hesitated for a while before he gave me an answer. "Things are...okay, i guess. We... We did talk a bit when we were strategizing about how we would find you guys when you went missing after the crash."
After that, Harke didn't give me a chance to say another word as he pulled me out of bed and marched me to the door. On our way down the stairs to the dining, we bumped into my father and all three of us stopped in our track.
A few seconds of silence goes by before Harke cleared his throat and excused himself. He walked passed my father and hurried down the rest of the steps.
It felt like it would be the best option for me to follow after Harke and ignore what ever he wanted to say. So, i slowly walked closer and tried to move around him when he suddenly pulled me in for a bine crushing hug.
I gasped at the sudden connection and stayed frozen with my arms stretched out at either side of my body and my eyes wide enough that it felt like they would pop off.
My father tightened the hug and whispered "My daughter."
A sudden rage traveled through my body and i immediately pushed him away. He stumbled back and looked at me with shock.
"Excuse me?" I spat out with a voice filled with anger.
"Rori, I..." My father started but i cut him off.
"No. You don't get to call me your daughter after years of treating me like a stranger. What is this even about?" I scoffed as i looked around. "Why are you suddenly acting like you ever liked me? If this is about getting on mom's good side then you can forget it. I never had a father when i was young. I sure as hell don't need you now."
Guilt was painted all over my father's face as i walked around him and made my way to the dinning room. I walked in to see that the room was tense and they all looked at me. It was then that i realized that they might have heard every single word said a couple of seconds ago.
With out looking at anyone, i made my way next to Harke and sat down at the empty seat.
Soon after, Harke and my mother stared serving the food and they did make a feast enough to feed a village.
Mr. Beam and Diago didn't hesitate to dig in and stuff their faces as soon as their plate was infront of them. But, Alpha Light and I were not enjoying the feast as much as the others. But, because of her mate and daughter, Alpha Light was able to cheer up a bit.
But i was still in a dark mood when my father joined the table and sat next to my mother, who gave him a soft smile and pushed his plate closer to him.
I am most definitely missing something.
