Rori-POV
I pulled my elbow back and streched the string of my bow until it's painfuly pressed against my cheek. I released the arrow and watched as it tore through the air to hit the target. Bulls' eye.
I reached back into my quiver and pulled out another arrow. I quickly slapped it against the bow and took my aim.

"You shouldn't be out here."
His voice called out so suddenly out of nowhere that i jumpped and my grip on the arrow slipped.
I looked over my shoulder to see Adalwolf standing close with his hands thucked in his pocket and his usual leather jacket in place. I looked back at my target to see that i'v missed.
With a sigh and a glare directed towards Adalwolf, i walked over to the target to plug my arrows out. I can hear his footsteps as he followed me closely.
Ever since he had declared that he would personally follow my every steps, he had turned in to my shadow. He is EVERYWHERE.
Adalwolf has made himself too comfortable in my place. And to my surprise, even my mom hated having the alpha in her house. It confused me because she used to adore him. Now Harke, he's a different story.

When ever Adalwolf would walk into a room, Harke would either grow quite or he would leave the room in all. Makes me wonder what happened between this two.
"Rori, it's the full moon tonight. You shouldn't be outdoor. It's not safe." Adalwolf commented but i chose to ignore him as i plugged my arrows.
I do know that tonight is the full moon. And eventhough the full moon doesn't triger my shifter nature, my lioness still wanted to go out tonight and run with the wolves.
My lioness isn't much of a runner, she doesn't go for long runs unless she had too. But since i haven't let her out in a while, she does want to take over, feel her paws brush against the forest ground as she speeds through the woods with other shifters and hunt together.

It's the desperation of my lioness that made me decide that i want to snike out and run with them from a distance tonight. I was hopping that once everyone shifted, i would be left alone and that since Adalwolf has a pack to lead, he would give me a little space to shift but no.
Lady luck doesn't seem to be on my side. Whereever i go, Adalwolf follows.
I heard him sigh from behind me "please, Rori just go home for tonight." He pleaded and i couldn't help but take a glance at him. I saw how intensly he was watching my arrows.
"Why silver?" He asked after a moment of silence. I finished pulling the arrows out and started slipping them into my quiver one by one.
"Why not silver?" I question back "i mean its not like it could hurt or tame me. Besides, it keeps assholes away."
I heard him chuckle at my last comment and it was true. When i have this silvers, no one would dare come close to me. I mean, not that anyone has bothered me since i came back but still, it doesn't hurt to always be prepared.
"You'd be surprised at how assholes can change." Adalwolf commented. I didn't understand what he meant, nor did i try to. So, ignoring him once more, i turned to the direction of home and started walking away.
Adalwolf was following me closely again.
I wanted to ignore him more than anything. I wanted to make him feel like his existance means absolutly nothing to me. But i couldn't help but be tempted by my curiosity.
"What the hell happened between you and Harke, anyway?" I asked and heard Adalwolf stop for a few seconds before he started following me again. He followed but didn't answer.
"What happened Adal?" I asked again "why is Harke living with my mom? And why is he always angery to see you?"
"I'm sure Harke will tell you when he's ready" is all he said. I assumed the conversation was over so i kept my mouth shut. But it doesn't mean i'm not going to find out one of these days.
These two brothers were bestfriends. Adal was always the protector and Harke was the best brother. So what couldn't have made this two hate eachother?
When we finally reached home, i walked in to see my father sitting on the couch of the living room. He looked up at me and froze like a deer caught by a lion.
My face instantly darkned as i watch him watch me. When my father saw Adalwolf, he stood from his seat to bow his head in respect. He might have been a horrible father but he sure was the best beta. That, i wouldn't take away from him.
"Duke." Adalwolf called out from behind me "what are you doing here." He asked as Harke and mom walked out of the kitchen looking like mother and son.
My father looked over to a glaring Harke and an expressionless mom.
"I came to ask Loni to the run tonight." My father answered as he looked at my mom but she was already shaking her head.
"I'm not going out for the run. I'm staying home with my daughter. And besides, i haven't been on a run for eighteen year and you haven't noticed. Why act like your worried now?" She asked as she looked my father dead in the eye.
Eighteen years? Mom hasn't been on a run for that long? I know she didn't go out on the full moon since i was four, which was the year we found out that i truly didn't have a wolf and the last four years i was gone...mom didn't go out for a run.
It made me extreamly sad for her. She's a wolf shifter. I'm surprised she hasn't gone crazy.
My father looked at my mom with guilt but he didn't argue with her.
"I don't mean to over step but Loni" Adalwolf called out to my mom "i suggest you go for the run. You are pack, your wolf need to run with her people."
I squeezed the strap of my quiver and walked towards the stairs leading to my room. I don't want to listen to this right now, it's too much drama and pain that i just don't want to be involved in.

I laid on my back and looked up at the celing as the full moon approached. The house was quite and i was waiting for the best moment to snick out for a run.
From what i have learned, mom has decided to join the run after hour of convincing and Adalwolf can't stay because he's the alpha and he has to lead the run. Harke had left while Adalwolf and my father tried to convince my mom and hasn't come back since.
So now that the house is out to shift for the run, i'm left all alone.
After i heard the houls from a distance and i was certain that thy were out in the woods, i stood up and walked down the stairs. I opened the front door with my lioness jumping up and down with excitment.
I made a short run towards the woods near the pack house. As soon as my bare feet touched the forest ground, i felt at peace. I stood there for a while and took a deep breath of the fresh air.
This right here is my heaven. I looked around to make sure that no one was watching me before i started stripping my clothe. I took them off one by one until i was nacked to the warm air.
After placing my clothe near a talk tree, i took a deep breath again and called out my beast.
"Ready to roar." My lioness made me smile with her thoughts.
My lioness clawed at me as she took over her form. My bones cracked and broke as the rearranged into my beasts' form.
The shift is not as painful as it was the first few times i shifted. It feels refreshing and natural now.
I was finally down on all four and my lioness planted her paws deep in the mud to feel the earth. The wind picked up warmly around me as i streched. The muscles on my lioness' back relaxed after the strech and she got ready to bolt through the woods. Only, i heard a voice from behind me and i immideatly froze.
"What the f*ck?"
