Rori-POV
Alpha Light looked exhusted as she spoke to me. The last time we talked was the day Diago was attacked and eventhough we are still yet to hear from Diago himself, the alpha of that pack had asured us that he was okay and was just in need of rest.
But now, two weeks later, i found myself stunned by what Alpha Light had told me.

The first news she passed to me was that she too was attacked a couple of nights ago and that she had been out for a day or two.
The second news was that she had been frequently visited by the shadows and a woman in her dreams. The description she gave me were exactly the same as my nightmares. Except, the only difference is that in her dream, the white woman with long ashy hair and gray lifless eye was always after her.
Alpha Light told me that she had talked with Mr. Beam from the academy before calling me and he told her that he too was having those dreams.
Since Diago is still MIA, we can't be sure that he was having these dreams or not but one thing is for sure. That white woman is not just a mere character in a nightmare. She IS the nightmare. And those three other figures might be Alpha Light, Mr. Beam and Diago. Only, i can't explain why i had been seeing different elements on thise figures.
"Wait..." i called out when Alpha Light was about to hang up.
"I forgot to tell you something..." i started. "There was another figure in my dream. I couldn't see much because it was far away but it was a male werewolf, i think. And he didn't seem to be chained as i was. He was free to see that woman strangl me...like he was, i don't know...an audinace? Like he was part of it all. Only, he seemed to be on the other side"

"A male wolf?"
I heard Alpha Light whispere. For a while, the line on the other side was silent. But a couple of minutes later, i heard Alpha Light softly gasp.
"It can't be..." she whispered "Rori. I want you to tell phoebe that i need her to come to my pack. That figure you discribed...i don't know why but i have a feeling that i might know who it is. I need a witch to conform my guess."
"Phoebe doesn't use magic." I remimded Alpha Light but she cut me off.

"She doesn't have to use magic. All she need to do she see the work of another." She explained and i got more curious as to why she sounded so conflicted.
"Who do you think it is, Alpha?" I asked her but she remained silent.
"I can't say now, not when i can be wrong." She answered "Tell phoebe to get on the road now and don't send her alone. It might not be safe."
With that command, Alpha Light hang the phone up and i was left to see the screen darken.
I just remembered that Adalwolf was in my room. And it was at the moment i reached out to pass him his phone that i realized my hands were slightly shaking.
Out of fear? Maybe. Adrenaline rush, definetly.
Adalwolf reached out to take his phone from my hand and our fingers brushed against eachother in the process.
I acted like his touch didn't bother me as i retracted my hand and looked away.
"Are you okay?" He asked with a soft tone and i looked up to him again. He looked really concerned as he stared at me. His eyes searched my face as he waited for me to answer.
I nodded my head before standing up.
"I need to go see Phoebe. Alpha Light wants her to go to silver fang pack to check something." I said as i tried to move past him. But he stopped me with a hand on my shoulder.
"Is there anything else you need to tell me?" He asked as her brushed his thumb against my colarbone. The fight against my Lioness to say still was by far the grearest battle i had ever fought.
I know that he is subconciously moving his thumb agnaist my skin and that he is unaware of the sudden change with in me. But he looked at me until i gave him an answer.
"Nothing at all." I answered but my left eye twiched. A very odd yet clear sign that i was lying.
"Rori." He warned but i was already shaking my head.
"There is nothing to tell, Adalwolf. Even if there was...i wouldn't tell you."
My left eye twiched once again and he clenched his jaw. I pushed his hand off my shoulder and moved over to my door only to be grabbed again. But this time, it's not just a hand on my shoulder. He turned me around and pushed me against the door.
He trapped my body between his and the cold wooden door and he leaned over to meet my eyes.
"You are in my pack, Rori. I have people to look after and protect. If what ever your hiding is a danger to my pack or to you, you are going to spill every single word out becaue like it or not Rori, you are still my pack and under my protection." He growled at me.
His face was so close to mine that i could feel his warm breath faning over my lips. My gaze traced down his nose and settled on his lips. My breath became shallow as i looked up to see that he too had his gaze planted on my lips.
The air suddenly changed as he started to lean a little closer and i did the first thing that came to my mind. I...attacked.
I jammed my knee up and slammed in right between his legs with a force that knocked his back from me.
Adalwolf let out a pained groan as he bend down and held on to my bed post. His face instantly turned into a tomato and the thick veins on his forehead appeared. He squeezed his eyes shut and held his breath.
I was still leaned against the door as i watched him struggle to compose himself. After a few minutes, he drew a long breath in and out and tried to stand up straight only to groan again. Yet, he stood up and opened his eyes to look at me. By the time he looked at me, i had already composed myself and my lazy cat expression was once again painted all over my face.
I didn't say anything to him and neither did he. I turned my back to him and opened the door to walk out but stopped to look at him over my shoulder.
"I stopped being your pack the night you sent me away." And with that, i slammed the door shut after walking out and he let me leave without stoping me.

After i told Phoebe that Alpha Light needed her, she had immideatly started to pack a bag for her travel.
Brandon, who had made it clear that he either goes with phoebe or phoebe doesn't go at all, has already loaded up a car ready to head to silver fang pack.
"Did she asked for you too?" Phoebe asked as she hicked her bag over her shoulder.
I shook my head. "No, she didn't. Which is for the best. Having the two of us in one place is not safe so..."
"Probably for the best." She commented back as we made our way outside to the car.
"So how are things going on with you and Brandon?" I asked her and she instantly blushed. "That good, huu?" I chukled as she she slapped my shoulder.
"Yeah, thing are great. You know i was terrified that he would hate me for choosing to take you instead of him four years ago. But, i was wrong. He told me that he was glad i saved you. He said if i had sent you here, no one would have helped you."
I nodded my head as she continued.
"He thought that he failed you and Adalwolf. He was supposed to take you to a safe place but he couldn't protect you. That was why he kept refusing the beta title for so long." She explained and i stayed quite.
It wasn't Brandon that failed me that night. It was Adalwolf, my mate.
Phoebe patted my shoulder as if she heard my thought and i rolled my eyes. When we arrived at the car, Phoebe threw her bag in the trunk and moved over to Brandon and Adalwolf.
Adal glanced at me before looked at Phoebe. I have been waiting for him to lash out on me for kicking him where the sun never shines but so far, nothing.
Brandon said his goodbyes to Adalwolf. Phoebe was tucked close in his arms already and he placed a kiss on the top of her head. The hood he always had to cover his scarred face was not in place. Instead, he wore a shirt that displayed all the scars on his face and down his neck and he doesn't seem bothered by it at all.
I have a guess that phoebe had something to do with it.
Brandon opened the door of the passanger side for phoebe before looking over at me. He gave me a warm smile and i couldn't help but return it with my own. Even though i have never known him on a personaly level or even talked to him at all, it still felt like he was a good friend of mine. He nodded at me before moving over to the drivers side.
Adalwolf moves out of the way to stand next to me and watch the car drive away from the main pack house.
As i watched the car disappear, i heard a voice call my name. I turned around to see the former beta of the pack...my father and i instantly froze.
He stood at the door of the main pack house next to the current gamma AKA jammy, one the duds who loved kicking me when i'm down, literaly.
They both looked down at me and it was like my heart stopped beating. Lioness or not, these people who conflicted so much pain in my life still terrifiy me. And even though i know it takes so little for me to out power them, they still beat me mentaly.
A frown settled on my face as i realize everytime i remember the last, i let them win. I scoffed out loud before turning on my heels and walking back home with Adalwolf following me from behind.
