Rori-POV
I looked at the three chained figures. The place is dark beyond the darkest hearts and i could barely hear a thing other than my own heart beat.
My lioness doesn't seem to be present at the time. The burn on my wrist made me hiss and i looked up to see that i was chained in iron. A large rusty iron. It explained why i can't feel my beast.

I looked over at the other three figure. One of them was still ingulfed with raging fire. But the one next to it seems to have the calmness of the wave of an ocean. Water?
And the other seems to feel like nature itself. As confused as i am, i tried to look around but my eyes were only met with darkness. I feel fear making a tornado inside of me as the cold swipped into my bone.
After what seemed like an eternity, the shadows made their apperances like they always do. They are close but never close enough for me to actualy see them. They just lurk around the four of us.
Then, just like always, the white woman shows up right in the middle of the little circle the four of us made. She would stand there and stare at us with hunger in her eyes. She would whimper as if she was in pain. Sometimes, she would laugh with her head thrown back. Sometimes she would sit on the floor and hum songs i have never heard before.
Her face is never clear for me to see. But her long ashy white hair and gray lifless eyes were the biggest horror. They carry hate and anger that would strick at any seconds.
After watching us for a long time, she would turn her attention to me and a wild smile would take over her pale lips. She takes one step closer but stops for a minute or two before taking another.

For some reason, i feel like she is doing it to intimmidate me, to let me know that i am fully at her murcy and there is nothing i can do about it.
In a blink of an eye, she is right infront of me. My lips opened in a silent scream as she placed an ice cold hand over my head and threw her head back to howl out a laughter.
At this point, i am beyond terrified. I tried to pull away from her but she clenched her fingers around my hair and held me in place.
I mustered all the strenght that was left in me and pulled my head away from her. Her grip lossened for a few seconds before she tangeled her fingers through my hair again. But those few seconds were enough for me to see another figure outside of the little circle.

From what little i was able to see, that figure was chain-less, male and quite probably a wolf shifter.
The white woman wrapped her other cold hand around my throat with that smile still streching her ugly lips. She waits for a few seconds until panick surged through my heart before she starts to squeez her hand.
My Air is immideatly cut off and my eyes rolled to the back of my head as i felt my heart stop.
A pained scream ripped out of my throat as i tried to free the hand that had a death grip on my neck.
"RORI?"
A distant voice screamed my name and warm hands wrapped around my own. I struggled more when i felt someone trying to pull my hands away.
"Rori, weak up..."
I felt a slap sting the left side of my face and immideatly opened my eyes. I gasped for air as Harke and mom sucessfuly pulled my hand away from my neck.
"What th f*ck?" Harke yelled at me as i struggled to breath. My mom did nothing more that pull me up and wrap me into her embrace.
As soon as my breath settled, she pulled away to look at me.
"What happened, Rori?" She asked me and it was right at that moment that i realized both Mom and Harke were staring at me with tears washing down their face.
"Bad dream?" I whispered as i remembered how that cold hand tried to squeez the life put of me.
"Why the hell were you strangling yourself?" Harke asked me with anger laced in his voice. I looked up at him in confussion and he sighed.
"We need to call the alpha..." he commented but i was already shaking my head.
"No. Leave it be. It's just a bad reaction to a bad dream. It's nothing more, nothing less. We'll call him tomorrow morning but not tonight okay."
Mom and Harke looked at eachother. "Please, you guys. I'm really tired. I just want to sleep."
"Rori." Harke warned but i shook my head before taking his hand.
"Please, as a favour to me, don't call anyone tonight. You can sleep here if you want but no alpha for now." I pleaded until his eyes soften.
"Fine." He said with a sigh "but i'm sleeping on the bed. You can take the floor if you want." He commented as a small smile made its way to his lips.
Harke immideatly pulled the covers off the bed and laid on his back. Mom though, seemed less convinced than Harke.
"You can sleep here if you want too, mom. The bed is big enough for the three of us." She softly smiled at me before she crawled to the other side.
With Harke to my left and Mom to my right, i slept the rest of the night without any chained figures or terrifing white woman invading my dreams.

"Why didn't you call me immideatly?" Adalwolf growled at his brother but Harke did nothing more than glare at him. He didn't say a word as Adalwolf got in his face the minute he saw the red mark around my throat.
Harke didn't even say a word as Adalwolf lost his shit.
"I told him not to." I answered for him and Adalwolfs' eyes snapped over to me. He looked furious.
"Any why is that?" He asked and he made his way to me. His alpha aura was all over the place yet it didn't do anything to affect me.
I stood my ground as he matched over to me until me were toe to toe. I had to lift my head up to meet his eyes straight on. If it was anyone else, i'm sure he would put them in their place for meeting his eyes dead on as it is concidered a threat and a challeng to an alpha.
But with me, i can see that dominant side of him crack a little as he stared down at me.
"Because, it was past mid-night. We wouldn't want to disturb you and whom ever you're entertaining, now do we?"
Alright, bitch mode ON.
I know that Adalwolf wasn't with anyone the previous night because his scent wasn't mixed with any other but i couldn't help it. And i certainly couldn't help the little comment that my Lioness slipped out from my lips.
Adalwolf clenched his jaw and pressed his lips in a tight line. My words seem to have angered him even more. He grabbed my arm with his right hand and pulled me. I stumbled until our bodies were against eachother.
"Like it or not, Ror. You are under my protection and you are my responsibility. Anything happens, then i am the first person you are going to call. I'm serious, Rori. I'm speaking to you as your alpha." He growled.
I was brave enough to keep that indifferent, lazy cat expression on my face but on the inside, i was going crazy. He's too close for my liking. Too close that i just want to plant my place in his neck and breath in his scent until i feel dizzy.
"You are not my alpha." I whispered and saw his anger crack a little bit more. He searched my face for a few seconds before his gaze landed on my lips. He stared down at them for a couple of seconds before meeting my eyes again.
"Step away from my daughter, Alpha." My mothers' voice cracked through the room and Adalwolf looked at her over my shoulder before looking back at me again.
He nodded his head before letting my arm go. But the way he let me go... he didn't immideatly pulled his hand away. No. He dragged in down my arm until he reached my hands, then, he took a step back.
I sucked in a breath as my Lioness shivered and stirred inside my chest.
Adalwolf turned to look at his brother, who immideatly averted his gaze away from him and sighed.
"Fine. If you are not willing to call me when you have to and you refuse me as your alpha, then i will have no othere choice than follow your ever step myself."
My eyes widen as he walked out of the house only to come back a few minutes later with his phone in his hand.
"I'v asked Brandon to pack me a bag." He looked over to my mother "I'll be staying here until further notice. That is a direct order from your Alpha." He commeted in his alpha voice and forced my mother head to bow down in submission.
His aura, for some weird reason doesn't seem to affect Harke at all.
"You can't do that." His brother growled at Adalwolf.
Adal turned to his brother. "I can and i did. Now, stop being a pain or i'll order you to move back to the main pack house." Adals' words made Harke glare i silence but he didn't dare say another word.
It seems Harke has officialy moved in with my mom while i was away. There is too much i need to know about my besti.
Adalwolf turned his glare over to me "you brought this on yourself, Rori. Deal with it."

After the alpha had announced that he would personally be babysitting me, Brandon had stepped up to finally accept his position as the beta of the pack. And from the way phoebe had been blushing, i can tell that she had a thing or two to do with his sudden decision.
She has been missing for the last couple of days and when she does come back, she would always have Brandons scent all over her. Poor Phoebe would turn into a tomato whenever Harke walks into a room and asks if Brandon had visited because of the scent.
So, now that Adalwolf has a second in command, he has been leaving most of the pack work to Brandon so he would monitor my every step.
I was in my room when he came in knocking on my door. Adalwolf walked in and handed me his phone.
"It's Alpha Light."
