Elsie
We had arrived at Kellan’s place, and I had relaxed probably for the first time tonight. I appreciate him making such an effort, I really do, but the place he took me isn’t for me. I don’t belong in that world.
“This place is incredible, Kellan,” I gush, looking around, “I guess.” He shrugs. I have a feeling there is more to that story, but I won’t ask. He doesn’t seem interested. Then again, he stays here, so it won’t be anything special to him.
“Do you want a drink?” he asks, swiftly changing the subject, “Yes, please,” I reply. He tells me what he has, and I decide on a beer. Kellan, too and he grabs us two from his fridge, handing one to me.
He uses his free hand to take mine, leading us through his place to the living room, pulling me next to him on the sofa. He turns side on to look at me, resting his hand on my knee.
“I am sorry tonight wasn’t the best for you,” he sighs, “No, that isn’t it at all. I have enjoyed my night with you, and the food was amazing. It is just I am not one for fancy places because I feel like I don’t fit in.” I answer honestly.
I don’t want him to think I am ungrateful because I am not.
“What do you like? So I know for the next time,” he asks, “I am happy with a pizza and beer. I like eating out, Italian and Chinese are my favourite foods, but the simple things in life make me happy. I don’t need or want fancy things, but I know it is what you are used to.” I answer.
I don’t want him to think I refuse to do the things he wants, go to the places he likes because I don’t, but I feel more comfortable in places, not like that.
“I shall keep that in mind. I would rather go somewhere you can be yourself,” he smiles, squeezing my thigh, which causes me to moan, “We can work it out.” He leans over, kissing me.
Does that mean he wants to spend more time together? It sounds like it, but he may change his mind, but I can worry about that another day.
“Yes, we can.” I smile, taking a sip of my beer.
Kellan does that same, neither of us speaking, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. I can feel his eyes on me intensely, and I swallow hard, slowly turning to face him.
I could feel the heat on my cheeks. He smirks, “Are you okay, angel?” I nod, gulping down my beer. He motions me to him, “I am as close as I can me,” I breathe out.
Kellan shakes his head, patting his lap. I bite my lip but don’t move. He raises a brow at me, a stern look on his face. I giggle, rolling my eyes, and he pats his knee again. I decide to stand my ground, “Nope!” I say innocently.
I jump to my feet, walking over to the large windows to admire the view, smirking to myself. I hear his footsteps behind me, getting closer to me. Kellan’s strong arm slip around me from behind, his warm lips brushing over my shoulder. I close my eyes, resting back against him.
“Why do you always try to fight me on things, sweetness, even though you want it?” he asks, kissing my neck, nibbling on the skin.
“Because I can’t give in to you so easily all of the time, what fun would that be?” I whisper, “Hmm, good point.” He uses his hold on me to bring me around to face him.
He presses my back to the window and his body to mine. I whimper at the sudden closeness. Kellan grabs my hands, pinning them above my head against the window. He captures my lips roughly in his, and I become completely weak, giving in to him and kissing back.
I link my fingers through his, my nails digging into his hands as the kiss deepens. He groans, grinding his hips into me. Kellan brings my leg around his waist, rubbing harder, and his excitement is brushing between my thighs. I cry out, the heat rising from my centre.
Suddenly, he stops, stepping back from me, “Do you want another beer?” he asks slyly, “What the fuck?” I whine. He had got me all hot and bothered.
“I can’t give in to you so easily all the time. What fun would that be?” he mocks, using the words I said to him. I glare at him, flipping him off.
He winks, walking away and heads to the kitchen. I huff in frustration, “Are you coming, kitten?” he calls out, laughing, “Asshole!” I call back.
I pull myself together and follow him to the kitchen. He still has a smug look present on his face as I enter, “Be as arrogant as you want, but I am sure you will change your tune when you don’t get laid at all tonight.” He wants to mess with me. I can do the same.
Kellan busts out laughing, holding his stomach, “What is so funny?” I huff, resting my hand on my hips, “The fact that you think you can resist me all night is damn hilarious.” He is so confident when he says it.
“You want a bet?” I counter, “Would you like to test that theory?” I add.
“Game on, angel, but I am certain you will break before me. You can barely handle having me close to you, so can you imagine how easily I will find ways to get under your skin?” God, he is so damn cocky at times.
I put my sexiest smile on, stepping into him. I place my hand on his chest, slowly running my fingers down it, “Mmm, so sexy, so firm.” I purr.
He growls, his breathing becoming heavier, “Not going to work,” he protests, “Are you sure?” I run my hand further down, palming him through his jeans.
“You aren’t winning this one,” he chokes out, “If you say so.” I attach my lips to his neck, continuing to rub him through his jeans.
“Fuck it!” He hisses, breaking, but I am not letting the game end, not just yet. I chuckle, taking a step back from him, “I will take that beer now.” I say innocently.
“Nicely played,” he replies, “I know. Thank you.” I grab two beers from his fridge.
I won this round, but I am unsure if it will continue that way because I know how persuasive he can be. Plus, I think it could be fun, something I have never done. I will give him a run for his money the best I can.
“I think there are more sides to you than you are willing to show me, Elsie, but I look forward to seeing them,” he smiles, “I could say the same about you,” I reply.
He nods, confirming what I said. I am sure there is a lot we could learn about each other and some we will keep to ourselves. Either way, we will have a good time doing it.
