"Mom. Dad. Why do you call for us? What do you have to say?" Kendrick asked although he already suspected what was happening seeing the light gleam on both of his parents faces.

"You know, the three of us have been searching for ways to make your mom forgive me." Nathaniel started.
"Yes? So what happened?" Kendra asked with twinkles dancing around her eyes.
"Well, she accepted my apology. Your mom decided to forgive and allow me into her life." Nathaniel announced.
"Really?" Kendra exclaimed.
"Wow!" Kendrick also exclaimed.
"Congratulations." Kendrick and Kendra both echoed together.

"That's a good decision mom. We are so proud of you and dad." Kendrick said, standing up to kiss Isabella who kept smiling on both cheeks.
"It was bond to happen, you guys knew and that was why you kept pushing it. You guys didn't go easy on me at all, it's not fair tho." Isabella pouted staring at Nathaniel who smiled and kissed her cheek.
"Aw, I'm so shy." Kendra covered her face and they all bursted out laughing.
A car drove into the compound, immediately Isabella stood up to check out who it was.

I'm not expecting a visitor. Today is Friday, Isabella thought as she came out and saw her adoptive mother Felicity.
"Mom?" Isabella called taken aback by her sudden visit.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"Can't I visit my daughter? Is it forbidden?" Felicity asked staring at her.
"No. It's not that, come on in." Isabella ushered her into the sitting room. There, Nathaniel and the twins were already standing waiting for her to come in.
Felicity farrowed her brows at the new face in front of her which wasn't entirely unfamiliar.
"Grandma." Kendrick called.
"Grandma, welcome." Kendra also greeted her.
"Thank you. I decided to visit you guys today as I have nothing to do at home, I'm also really bored there." Felicity answered and returned her gaze to Nathaniel who kept staring at her as well.
Isabella coughed and walked to stand in between Nathaniel and Felicity. She introduced "mom, this is Nathaniel. He is the father of the twins." She introduced.
"He is their father? Wait. What? Their father??" Felicity exclaimed.
"Yes. He is Nathaniel Mikealson." Isabella introduced.
"You mean, he is..." Felicity paused and swallowed her words.
"Okay, but what is he doing here with you? Why is he here?" Felicity asked facing Isabella.
"Mom. We can talk somewhere else please." Isabella pleaded.
"Yeah, better. Take me to your room." Felicity requested.
Isabella escorted her to her room.
"What is he doing here? What is the rapist doing here with you Isabella?" Felicity asked her sternly.
"I love him." Isabella confessed.
"You love him? A man who raped you in his youths? How naive of you?" Felicity scolded.
"Mom, you may not like him but he is the father of my kids. I'm not saying raping me is good but I couldn't have been blessed with Kendrick and Kendra if he didn't do what he did and perhaps, I could never have become your adopted daughter. Things could never have been this way, mom." Isabella reasoned.
Felicity shook her head in disagreement. "Do you remember what you went through after you became pregnant at such a young age, Bella? He is not David, David should be the one here. He should be the one that you're in love with and not him, never him. I won't accept him as my son in law." Felicity insisted.
"I don't need you to accept him as your son in law. He is already the father of my kids and that will never change." Isabella stated.
"Have you thought of what people will say when they hear you are with a rapist that should be in jail? They will criticize you and even criticize and bully him more. It'll destroy him, so just do him a favor and let him to go. Marry David and live a peaceful happy life.
David is a good person, he is your friend and I shouldn't explain his attributes to you. Know what is good for you, Bella." Felicity warned.
"I know what is good for me and my kids, mom. And I'll appreciate it if you stop calling him a rapist, he is the father of my kids and he is a changed person. He wasn't bad either and did what he did because of the alcohol he took, mom." Isabella defended.
Felicity sighed in frustration.
"I know if his records are checked, you'll find out that he is just a gold digger and a rapist. I'm sure he has raped a lot of girls and destroyed their lives. You are defending him now because you have a good life. If I find anything, the slightly crime he committed, I'll make sure I'll use it against then he'll rot in jail forever." Felicity threatened.
"Mom! Stop it. If you do that, you'll lose me. I promise you, the day you do that will be the last day you'll see me and the kids. And he is not a gold digger, his family owns different companies in different regions okay?" Isabella shouted in defense.
Her words shocked Felicity. She didn't expect Isabella would ever threaten her of leaving her one day.
"I'll just go back before I get more annoyed." Felicity said then turned back and left Isabella's house to hers. Immediately, she got home she gave her private investigator the job of finding out everything about Nathaniel.

Nathaniel went up to Isabella, he knocked and entered her room to see her in a bad mood.
"Hey, it's okay. Your mom won't succeed in breaking me, I'll only prove to her that I'm not who she thinks I am." Nathaniel cooed.
Isabella lifted her eyes to stare at him.
"You heard?" She asked.
"Yes, I heard some of the words you guys exchanged. You were pretty loud." Nathaniel chuckled.
"But trust me, I will never give you or the kids up." Nathaniel promised and pulled her into a warm hug.

The next day Nathaniel went to the hospital and he was confirmed to be very okay.
He got a call from his father asking him if the deal was set and he answered positively before going to Isabella's house to explain things to her.

A month later.
Nathaniel went down with both Kendrick and Kendra to his parents house. He introduced both Kendrick and Kendra to his parents who were staring at them, confused.
Nathan's mom wondered why Kendrick looked so much like Nathaniel.
"Nathan, what is happening? Who are these kids?" His father questioned.
"They are your grandkids, dad. This is Kendrick and this is Kendra." Nathaniel introduced.
Nathan's mom mouth opened at the revelation.
"No wonder the boy looks so much like you." She said and started approaching Kendrick. She got to him and touched his face.
"Oh my goodness! It's true. He is my grandson." Nathan's mom confessed while his father only kept staring.
"How are they your kids? They are grown ups and not babies, explain the whole thing." His father demanded.
"Of course. I'm just gonna do that dad, calm down." Nathaniel chuckled.
"She's so beautiful. She must have gotten her beauty from her mother. My son has a good eye," Nathan's mom exclaimed again.
Nathaniel chuckled and went to hold his mom.
"Mom, I promise you'll love their mom."
"Since she gave them to you, that's enough for me to love her." She confessed.
"Can you sit down and allow him explain all these to me?" Nathan's father demanded again.
"Of course. Yes, you should tell us how and when it happened." Nathan's mom immediately sat down at her husband's demand.
"Em, you remember when, that time when I was still in highschool? I was in my year two then, I got drunk and actually did what I did which I regret but I'm also grateful for."
"Dad, you had sent me to Portland, that was the reason you sent me there remember?" Nathan explained refreshing their memories.
"Mom, you had escorted me to their mother's house when I begged you to find out where she lived.' Nathaniel kept explaining.
They both thought hard and it wasn't long before they remembered that incident.
"Yes, I remember now." His father nodded.
"Yes, the thing I did got her pregnant actually. She carried them and gave birth to them. Although I've been secretly searching for her, I didn't find any information on her because she changed her name.
She is Isabella Asher Queen. The daughter of Felicity of Queen empire." Nathaniel revealed.
"She is Queen's daughter? The same person you went to cut a deal with?" Nathan's father on hearing the name leaned up.
"Yes dad. She is the same Isabella. She's the mother of your grandkids." Nathan confirmed.
"Well, I'm really not active in the business world and don't care much about her identify. I'm just glad that she allowed you near the kids and even bring them here, it seems like she forgave you." Nathan's mom reasoned.
"Yes mom. She forgave me and we are engaged currently." Nathaniel smiled as he delivered the news.
"Wonderful. That's awesome." Nathaniel's father happiness grew at the news. A chance to be an in law to the best company owner. He thought.
