ASHLY POV
After a couple of days, I got busy with the parties.
Just like what we have planned, I held the bridal shower at her fave restaurant and those close and mutual friends that I invited brings their own gifts.

Quintin and I also met at 2 pm at the place where we will held the Bachelorette and the stag party. It was a KTV room.
"The party only contain Maeve, Maris, Maeve's 2 close cousins and Me, how's your side?" I said
"There are 5 too who's going to attend later." Quintin answer
I poured another wine into my cup "Good. Don't do any mischief huh! If the wedding won't held because something happened I will kill you!" I jokely said and laugh "Cheers." I raised my glass and cheers with Quintin's glass.
The evening came, we held the Bachelorette party and stag party. Quintin's room where they celebrated the stag party was just a few rooms away from ours.
Just sing and sing, there are lots of cases of beers on the table and foods. There is also a laptop on the side, I don't know what that is for, Maris prepared that one.

When we got tired of singing, Maris decided to take the laptop and open it
"I just downloaded this movies. Check this out."
I look at the screen and read the title "After we collided? Cuddle Weather? 365 days? What are those?"
"Opps, our little superstar is innocent." Maris teasingly said

I just shook my head and continue reading the movie titles "Fifty shades of Darker, Fifty shades of Grey!? Wait its familiar with me! Gosh! Its an 18+ movies."
They all laugh "She's going to get married soon so I think she should also need to learn some things in bed you know." Maris said
I laugh "She'a drunk, Ya'll are drunk."
"C'mon Ashly, I spent money to download this movies."
"You are wrecking my friend's innocence. I'm pass."
And we just did that for the whole bachelorette party; sing, get drunk, sing again then the four of them watching p*rn
I LOOK at Maeve in the mirror as she adjusted the veil on her back. Days passed and it was Maeve and Kaiden's wedding day "This is your big day Maeve. You are finally getting married!"
She smile "Thanks Ash."
"A-are you okay?"
She turned to me "Of course, I just can't believe I'm getting married."
"So do I, the bestfriend of mine is finally getting married." 'and the person I like is going to marry my bestfriend today.'
I felt ache in my chest.
'I hope you said you liked me back then Kaiden I hope that is true b-but no matter how hard we try on each other. It's still wrong because you're my friend's fiancee and you're getting married ... today.'
After this wedding will be finish, I will dig in the ground to bury my love for him. I don't want to ruin our relationship and become a mistress. The wedding is currently being held. The bridesmaids were walking down the aisle with their partner groomsmen and just waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle wearing a beautiful and big gown and holding flowers but few minutes has already passed, but still no bride showed up.
I have already started to panic. I approached Faye "Where's Maeve? Did you see her?"
She shook her head "No. You are the last person with her, where is she?"
"I left her in the fitting area to calm down, she look nervous earlier."
Maris suddenly stood up while looking at her cellphone. "Maeve just texted" She said
"Does something happen?"
"What did she says?" Kaiden said
My heartbeat is getting faster. Why am I nervous?
"She's calling off the wedding." She said "D-didn't say anything why."
It was as if my heartbeat had stop.
Even Kaiden seemed to have lost his soul and knelt on the sand
The bridesmaids, guests and especially Kaiden and Maeve's parents is shocked.
Kaiden stood up with a serious face and hurried away.
"Kaiden!"
"Kaiden!"
"Ey--"
I hurriedly get my phone from my pocket and contacted Maeve
'The subsriber cannot be reach, please try again later.'
I tried again
'The subsriber cannot be reach, please try again later.'
I tried again for the 5th time but I still got the same answer.
"I can't contact her!" I said with worried face
"Me too tita. I guess she turn off her phone." Maris said. "What to do?"
Worried and nervous with us increased cause no one could contact Maeve and no one knew where she was.
I look at the direction where Kaiden went "What about Kaiden?"
Kaiden's father tapped my shoulder "Let him alone for a while, Ash."
"Will he be okay?"
"As for now, he is not but he will after accepting this unbelievable and unexpecting incident."
We are now so anxious finding Maeve. .
I don't know what came into Maeve's head why she's calling off the wedding but I am sure that she has her own reasons.
I quikly knock at the room Kaiden went to "Kaiden? Kaiden let me enter. Its me, Ashly." I look at the staff next to me "Get me the spare key. Quick!"
What if he already drown himself in the bathtub? Or hung himself? Or cut his wrist? Gosh, I have never been this nervous!
When the staff handed me the key, I haven't even opened the door when it opens
"Stay behind, except you Ashly." Kaiden said seriously, he's eyes are also swollen and red.
When he enter again leaving the door open, I look at Kaiden's parents and Maeve's father.
"Go, he needs a shoulder to cry on right now." Mrs. Bautista said
"Maev-"
"Let me take care of my own daughter." Tito said. I just sadly nodded and went in and lock the door
Then I saw him seating at the edge of the bed, looking at the floor.
I seat beside him. I just shut my mouth close cause I know he doesn't need my words right now, all he needs now is a person, a shoulder, a pillow, who he can cry to and release all his tears
After a couple of minutes with no sounds of sobs coming from him, he puts his head on my shoulder and started crying
"W-why Ash? Why did she call off the wedding?" He said while crying "She doesn't love me anymore? Is something wrong with me?"
"No, No"
He hold my shoulder and shake me to the point that I felt like my vision became double and shaky.
'Fvck! If your not sad right now, I'm already beating you!'
When he started crying again, I have no other choice but to hug him.
"Shh. Don't cry. All I know is that Maeve has her own reason why she did that."
I just continue to comfort him until he slept on my shoulder, crying.
'Poor you'
I already find Maeve at the KTV, singing. She was no longer wearing the gown and she was already dressed more casual wear.
There are also bottles of beer in the floor. I reach out the beer and the mic on her hand "Stop it now, Maeve."
"I want to sing more." She even tried to snatch the mic from me
"Stop it." I forcibly took the mic back from her but she had a strong grip on it.
"What!?" Maeve tossed the mic to the side as I was trying to snatched the mic from her "What's your fvcking problem!?"
"Why didn't you show up on the wedding?!"
"I am pregant, okay!? And Kaiden is not the father."
I covered my mouth in shock "W-what?"
"I am pregnant! Can't you understand it!? I just found out that I was pregnant yesterday but there's no sex happened between me and Kaiden, so he is not the father!!" She angrily shouted "Do you think that I will marry the man who is not the father of this child in my belly?"
I hold both of Maeve's arms "Maybe he can understand this, maybe he can accept it too and maybe he's also willing to accept the child, right?" I just bent down to hide my tears "Don't act anything stupid!"
She remove away my hand that was holding her arms "You still don't understand!? My virginity is gone! I am no longer clean! Another man had sex with me!" I couldn't bear to see her wild and crying. I hugged her tight "Maeve, if he really loves you, he will accept this thing okay?!"
But she also immediately pushed me and cried "Tell me, Ash. How!? Huh, how!? Will Kaiden accept the truth that the child in my belly is his friend's child?!"
My tears seemed to back off "F-friend's child?"
She wipe the tears on her cheeks and look at me, then slapped me left to right "Isn't this what you want?"
I couldn’t speak, I couldn’t understand what she was saying, my brain was even more confused! Who is Kaiden's friend who is the father of Maeve's son!! I swear, I will kill him!
"You like Kaiden aren't you? My hunch is accurate right? You like my fiancee? Right!?"
"H-how--"
"I think you've already got what you want now my good bestfriend. If I have been married to Kaiden today, I could calm my mind at the thought that you might attract Kaiden every time I'm in the hospital." She look at the from afar "If only the wedding happen, you wouldn't have to take him away from me and you wouldn't have ruined our relationship, If only this fucking incident hadn't happene--Are you happy now!? You can take him away from me now!"
I looked at her angrily and wipe my tears.
My hand flew to both of her cheeks "Get back to your senses Maeve!! Am I really that dispecable to you!? You are right Maeve, your hunch is correct. I like your boyfrien--No, I'm inlove with him. I understand you will be angry because I kept it a secret from you but have you know that you have already wrecked and ruined me by saying those words? You ruined me by thinking if ever I am really into your man, I would ruin your relationship. No Maeve, I wouldn't dare." I said while tear drops are continue running from my cheeks but she was still silenced "If I will flirt him, I would have long done that when you are in Thailand! Didn't you think of that?"I took a deep breath and wiped the tears from my cheeks "I didn't really expect you to think that way about me. Yes I love Kaiden but I can't hurt my friend just because of a guy."
I didn't wait for what she would say and I left immediately, when I arrived at the parking lot, I borrow this motorcycle from Kaiden's father. I took my cellphone out then texted Maeve's mother; 'I've seen Maeve, she's okay and maybe she will explain to you about this issue.'
I rode the motorcycle as far as the fuel could go.
It was already 12 midnight, I felt hungry and I just happened to pass by a 24/7 restaurant-bar.
I parked the motor and went inside and sat in the seat. Its just about 3-4 people eating here, because it's probably twelve in the midnight. When the waiter approached me, I just ordered food.
Everything Maeve said earlier came back and forth and every word she said pierced my chest.
'Am I really bitch in your mind, Maeve?'
I gave to the fulliest until there is nothing left for myself. I am just craving for trust and believe. I'm gaving too much for others, when will I gave my self a time?
If only the waiter hadn't come I did not notice that I was crying already.
"Are you okay Ma'am?" The waiter asked.
I nod "Yeah. Do you also have any beers here?"
"Yes."
"Get me one bottle of Vodka and BaR pink Gin. I'll fetch it later."
I went to the counter after I ate, I laid the two thousand on the table and waited for the change. She also gave me the plastic containing the alcohol I bought.
"Thank you."
I went to the near store and bought 4 soju, lemon, strawberries, yogurt, chilsung cider and clear soda.
I open my phone for the GPS and went to the nearest hotel in my location.
I put down the alcohols I bought on the bed and started to open and drink it.
One glass after another, one bottle after another.
I'm a little bit drunk because I already have the half of vodka.
"Why did I fall for you you fvcking bastard!?"
When did it all started Maeve? When?
We have known each other for the half of our lives and I thought. I-I thought you really trust me more than anyone else, but it turns out that she doesn't even trust me at all. All she thinks is I will flirt Kaiden.'
I felt like a madman laughing and crying alone.
It was twelve o'clock at noon when I got back to the hotel because of my hangover. Maeve and Kaiden were immediately caught by my eyes talking in the sand.
I also have eyebags and my eyes are red so I wore dark colored sunglasses. They were talking seriously so I stood behind a tree near them.
"I can be responsible for that Maeve, you know that. Even if the child in your womb is not mine, I will be responsible for you because I love you!!" I heard Kaiden shouted
"I don't want you to be tied with me just because of responsibilit-"
"Then let me be tied with you because we both love each other Maeve!"
"I can't and I won't!"
I look at Quintin who was approaching them "Stop fighting. Kaiden, I am sorry but.." he pause "I-i am the child's father."
'What!?'
"W-what?"
