Rori- POV
I woke up to Adalwolf pressing feathery kisses on my cheek. I sighed as i looked at him over my shoulder.
"Wake up sleepy head." He whispered in to my ear.

"Ok." I mumbled and stopped to feel my chest. There was no stirring. No lioness in place.
I sighed again before closing my eyes.
"Everything okay?" Asked Adla and i just nodded my head.
"Can i ask you a question?" I asked and he kissed my cheeks again before he said yes.
"If you were ever trapped by silver or something...will that kill your wolf?"
"Why?" He asked instead of answering the question.

I shrugged my shoulder before looking over my shoulder again.
"Just a hypothetical question."
Adalwolf hummed before answering.
"I wouldn't know for sure but, i also wouldn't go as far to say that my wolf would die. It would definitely limit my contact to my wolf but it wouldn't kill it."

I Stayed silent for a while as i considered his statement.
"Is it the same for all shifters?" I whispered. Adal didn't answer my question. Instead, he sat up and looked down at me with curiosity.
"What is this all about?" He asked and i sighed before i imitated his sitting position.
"I'm just curious, you know."
Adal looked around the room as if he was thinking about something deeply before he focused his gaze back at me.
"Again, I can't say for sure. But, if a shifter is tamed with what ever element it is tamed with, then the beast might stay dormant until the element is cleared out of its system. If i get tamed by silver, then my beast will be dormant until the silver is out of my system. So, it might be the same for other shifters too."
I nodded my head as i felt a little bit of hope blossom in my chest.
I gave Adal a soft smile before i nodded my head again. "That's good." I mumbled to myself.
"What?" Adal asked but i shook my head.
"I'm a little hungry." I commented and Adalwolf chuckled before getting off the bed.

Walking downstairs to join the wolves of the main pack house for breakfast was not easy. I can literally feel their eyes burning a hole at my head.
I kept my eyes down as i walked next to Adal as i resisted the urge to hide behind his tall frame and broad shoulders.
I looked over to him to see that he was watching his pack members and nodding his head towards them as they greeted him. Being this close to him felt safe, safer than it ever felt. I was hoping that being close to him and opening up might help heal my Lioness.
If what Adal told me this morning was true, then my beast is here. She might be well hidden from me but i have hope that she might come back. And i need to hold on to this hope because, lossing her will quite literally drive me crazy.
I remembered the coldness and lonely ness i felt when i woke up after the attack. Without my beast, i felt empty and devastated.
I broke down infront of Harke and Mom when i realized that my lioness might truly be lost. I may also have slipped that my beast was dead i front of my mother...
Oh, the look on her face when i finally explained to her that i shifted about two years ago and that the iron net might have stollen my shifter from me.
My mothers' reaction was not as bad as i thought it would be. She wasn't angry that i kept my secret from her. I mean, she was a little disappointed when she realized that Harke knew about it first, but in all, she was supportive and happy for me.
But she also felt my devastation when i told her that i couldn't feel my Lioness. Even though she was really confused when she heard that my beast wasn't a wolf but a lioness, she kept all her questions to herself as she and Harke tried to calm me down.
That was when all rivers broke and the three of us collectively bursted into tears until Adalwolf showed up.
When Adal and I finally reached the dining room, i finally looked up to see the faces of the people i would be having breakfast with.
Alpha Light and her people, the former Alpha and Luna of the Rage wolf pack, my parents- who are somehow sitting next to each other, Brandon sitting next to Phoebe, Harke sitting next to Jammy and finally, Diago.
My eyes stopped as they land on him and I couldn't help but stare at him longer. Diago sharply looked up from his plate as he felt my gaze on him. I couldn't look away from him as i was so curious how a giant, terrifying drago came out of him.
"What?" He asked before stuffing his face with a chunk of meat.
I shook my head and looked away from him as i made my way to an empty seat- which was right next to the head of the table where Adalwolf sits.
An omega served us our food which was meat and...meat- A predictors food.
My lioness might be gone for the time being bit her appetite was still here. Which is why i didn't hesitate to dig in and shove everything infront of me in a record breaking time.

Alpha Light and her people decided that it was time to go back to the silver fang pack as the shadows were now gone from ever corner of the borders. I know that it must have been hard for Aloha Light to be away from her mate and child for this long. And so, everyone agreed that it would be best to keep on with the first plan. Which was to keep the four of us at different corners of the world.
Alpha Light and she wolves hopped on the helicopter they brought here and left.
Everyone from the pack was outside to wish the female alpha a welfare as she departures. I stood next to Diago who had refused to go with Alpha Light in the helicopter as he said, and i quote 'It is an insult to my dragon." So, he decided that he would he flying back to The Blood moon pack when it gets dark.
"So..." I started "A Dragon, huu?"
Diago sighed and quit possibly rolled his eyes at me before he nodded his head.
"Yes, a dragon. Looks like my secret is out. How long before yours does?"
His arrogant question made me stop as i turned to look at him.
"What's that suppose to mean?"
Diago stared at me for a few seconds before he smiled. Not smirked, but actually smiled.
"The rest might be easy to fool, but not me, Little one. I know what it's like to hide from the world. And i definitely know when someone is hiding something too. I know that you are not a human..." Diago stopped for a while to look around before he leaned a little closer to me. "And i know for a fact that the gray wolf and the giant bear know that you are not a human either."
Alpha Light and Mr. Beam?
Diago tilted his head to the side as he examined me.
"What i don't get is, what you really are and why you're hiding it."
I raised my left brow at him before i snapped back "Just like how you were hiding what you are. Why don't you tell me why you kept your beast a secret and I'll consider telling you mine."
Diago stepped back from me as he crossed his muscular arms over his chest.
"That would be non of your business." He commented in a sharp tone that made mw scoff.
I turned around to leave but i froze when i heard the unmistakable sound of an explosion. My head snapped towards the direction of the sound and my heart skipped a beat as i watched Alpha Light's helicopter go straight down in flames.
I tried to move, to run towards the helicopter and help the Alpha and her people, but my body wouldn't move. It was as if i was no longer in control of my own body.
I felt a tightness in my head i made scream, yet still, i couldn't move my body. Scream after scream tore from my throat as the tightness swelled in my head, blurring my vision and silencing my voice until there was nothing more...Just silence.
I gasped as my eyes suddenly flew open but i was met with utter darkness. I squinted my eyes to see better but a sharp pain made me hiss as i looked up, only to realize that my wrists were bound by thick, rusty iron chains.
This situation feels too familiar and i hated it. I'm once again trapped in a nightmare, aren't I?
I tired to pull my hands but the pain was too sharp. I have never felt this much pain in my nightmares. But it felt too real.
A groan made me flinch and search the darkens with my eyes and i saw three other figures chained with different elements. I can finally see them clearly.
Diago was to might right chained with Golden chains and Alpha light was to mily left chained with silver chains. I looked straight ahead and saw that Mr. Beam was chained with not just one element but all three and he looked out of it.
Diago looked up at his chains and tried to pull his hands free but only ended up hurting himself.
"What the hell happened?" I whispered and Diago looked at me before he traced his eyes over to Alpha Light and then to Mr. Beam.
"It seems, our nightmares are finally coming true."
A soft groan stole my attention and i looked over to Alpha light. I just remembered that she was in a helicopter crash when i saw blood all over her face and her clothe.
Alpha light shook her head violently to stop herself from passing out before looking at us.
The four of us made a small circle with three conscious shifters and one knocked out bear. Diago examined Mr. Beam before calling out to him. But the bear doesn't reply.
"They must have drugged him to knock him out." Diago commented as he looked at the chains around the giant Man's wrists. "The bear is the only one that can break free this chains. He is our only hope right now..." Diago continued but soon stopped when we head soft footsteps.
A man walked out of the darkens and made his way to stand in the center of the circle the four of us made and i immediately recognize him as the mysterious man in my nightmares.
The man turned in a tight circle to stare at all four of us before he focused his gaze on Alpha Light. The alpha aggressively growled as the man slowly stalked over to her like a freaking pervert.
"My little wolf..." The man growled back "Finally you are in my clutch."
Alpha Light tired o free herself and get in the man's face, but he just chuckled.
"Now, now...no need to be eager. You will be free once you perform what is expected of you my little wolf." With that, the man turned his back to her and walked back into the darkness.
"I'll kill you, Mitchl. You won't get away with this, you son of a b*tch..." Aloha Light screamed as the man- Mitchl- disappeared from our sight.
I sighed and bowed my head down in exhaustion. Closing my eyes, i pretended that i wasn't even here at all. But my escape was short lived, as silent footsteps slapped against the ground and everything suddenly turned quite.
I looked up to see that the white woman was standing the the center of the circle and for some reason, i was left in utter fear.
